Bangash Tribe of Kurram, Hangu & Kohat - Tribes of FATA, Pakistan

Bangash is a big Pashtun tribe of FATA (& KPK), Pakistan. They mostly inhabit Kohat and Hangu districts of KPK but a large number of Bangash also live in Kurram Agency. Ethnic Bangash Pashtuns also live in different areas of India most notably Farrukh Abad.
The Bangash are primarily divided into three main clans i.e.
1) Miranzai
2) Baizai
3) Samilzai

Bangash Nawabs of Farrukh Abad (Uttar Pardesh, India):
Nawab Ghazanfar-Jang, Muhammad Khan Bangash laid the foundation of the state of Farrukh Abad in Uttar Pardesh, India and was sworn in as its first Nawab in 1715. He was a “Bawan Hazari Sardar” (Commander of 52000 Men Strong force) in the Mughal rule. His successors on the throne of Farrukh Abad state were:
Ø      Nawab Qaim-Jang Qaim Khan Qaim-ud-daula
Ø      Nawab Ahmad Khan (took part in the 3rd Battle of Panipat in 1761 alongside Ahmad Shah Abdali Baba)
Ø      Nawab Muzaffar-Jang Daler Himmat Khan
Ø      Nawab Nasir-Jang Imdad Hussain Khan
Ø      Nawab Tafazzul Hussain Khan
